Clark & Kasi's wedding day is the PERFECT example of how great a wedding day can be (even when it doesn't go as planned) as long as you remember the most important thing - that at the end of the day, you'll be married to your best friend. And that's all that matters.
As I was driving to the venue (Redbud Party Barn in Douglass, KS), I saw giant dark clouds forming over the area. Sending up a quick prayer that the storms would hold off until after the ceremony, I pulled into the parking lot and got to work! Kasi put so much effort into all these personal touches, and it paid off. All of the decor and the venue itself, made for a beautiful day!
The weather held off until the very moment that Kasi & her father made it down the aisle. There were several loud rolls of thunder and we could literally hear the downpour coming across the venue's tin roofs! My sister and I raced to grab our umbrellas and she had to hold one over me and my camera for the rest of the ceremony. By the end, we were both soaked.
Kasi & Clark were incredibly sweet with each other and I don't believe I've ever heard such loud cheering as when they finally kissed! Although the day may not have gone exactly as they planned, they both had the most amazing attitudes! Kasi remarked as they raced back down the aisle, "Who cares?! We're married!"
Definitely a wedding I'll remember! Congratulations, Clark & Kasi!
